ABOUT THIS BWP: You have two choices of posts today. 1-) "Throwback Tuesday" is a post intended to take them back in time with their recruit or traditions. 2-) "Recruit T-shirt Tuesday", in the San Diego groups, they posted "Wear Red Monday" for 1st RTBN companies, Tuesday Yellow, Wednesday Blue, etc. However, to keep the BWP schedule, we need to change this to "Recruit T-Shirt Tuesday". See below for insructions.

Make this post fun. Use your own creativity. Perhaps you can have a contest for how many battalion-color shirts photos are shared. Pick something fun if you're using Throwback as the topic. Choose from ONE of the following "Tuesday" Topics:

  • Throwback Tuesday
    Pick a theme and create a VCM; maybe it's their recruit's kindergarten photo, or "do you remember" kind of theme from the past such as pay phones, older television shows, albums, cursive writing in schools, etc. Be creative and personal; try to relate it back to their recruit, boot camp, or the Marine Corps.

  • Recruit T-Shirt Tuesday
    This post is to encourage members to wear their recruit's battalion colors on Tuesday. You can share store recruit support shirts using the links below from VOW Post: Other+, EGA Shop Links to Share.

    Click the link to your battalion below. On that page, first find the image you want to share. Then click the image to open the page. Copy the URL from THAT page to paste in your post or use the SHARE button.

RTU & VCM IMAGES: Do NOT create your own image for the store. Use the links above for images and URLs to share. You will need to create your own VCM with the Meme Generator for each Throwback Tuesday post. The MP Meme Generator includes a category caled "Throwback" or use other category images depending on what you're asking the member to "throwback".

Please do NOT use your own personal photo to start the post. Create a VCM for the post. There are NO exceptions to this. After your post is pushed to the group, add your personal photo as a comment to your own post.

  REMINDER:
Upload your VCMs to your VO Photo Album in your MP Team Group before using it in your post. Click the folder to open the MP Meme Generator.

MEMBER INTERACTION: Add your VO signature; tag yourself so the members "see" who you are. Be sure to go back in after you make the post so you can talk with the members. They want to hear from YOU.
