HEARTFELT POSTS: Make your post heartfelt and personal! Add your own experience, gif, or photo to the comments, too.
INVITE ALL MEMBERS TO COMMENT: These are BATTALION WIDE posts; don't make your post specific to a company. Ask the "seasoned" members to share their recent experiences with the "newbies".
ABOUT THIS BWP: On our CONVERSATIONS & GAMES page in VOW (see OTHER: Posts+) we have two kinds of conversational posts for the post today: "Conversation Starters" and "Asking Questions" OR create your own "Question of the Day" (a/k/a QOTD).

These can be fun, interesting, thought provoking, or silly depending on what has been shared in the BWPs for the day or week. Choose from one of three two following conversational topics to create your post. To make it personal, include your answer to the question, as part of the post you make or with a comment to your own post.

  1. "Conversations Starters" on VOW:
    There are 20+ questions to choose from, each intended to elicit a conversational response from the members. You'll need to create a VCM for these. See below.

  2. "Asking Questions" on VOW:
    The theme for these questions is the members' own recruits or Marines. We've included RTU images, so if you're short on time, use one of these. However, feel free to create your own VCM for these questions.

  3. QOTD: Question of the Day
    For your own QOTD, be creative! Try to keep it related to our families or the Marine Corps. But if the group hasn't gone "outside" that realm recently, talk with your AGL with your suggestion for this week. Our group is about the MARINE CORPS, so keeping on point is valuable, but straying a bit now and then is acceptable.

RTU & VCM IMAGES: You will need to create your own VCM with the Meme Generator for the "Conversation Starters".

  REMINDER:
Upload your VCMs to your VO Photo Album in your MP Team Group before using it in your post. Click the folder to open the MP Meme Generator.

MEMBER INTERACTION: Add your VO signature; tag yourself so the members "see" who you are. Be sure to go back in after you make the post so you can talk with the members. They want to hear from YOU.

Important Note to ALL Volunteers: New ideas for a BWP are welcome but require approval FIRST. Seek advise from your coach on new ideas. Your coach will consult with the RTBN Manager. Creating or "piloting" a new post idea is never permitted without explicit permission from the RTBN Manager.
